Coaching for nervous horse riders



Are you a beginner rider who’s nervous about getting into the saddle? A novice who can’t stop worrying about your horse bolting?  Maybe you’ve ridden for years but lost your confidence after a fall. Or perhaps you’re a proficient horse rider who struggles with competition nerves.


As a coach who’s passionate about horses, I’m here to help you. Whatever level you’re at, I’ll work with you to help calm your anxieties, build your confidence and equip you with a positive mindset to enhance your riding experience.


1-2-1 coaching

We’ll work together either face-to-face at my coaching cabin in Bedfordshire or remotely by Skype or Zoom to explore the challenge you’re facing. Using NLP and other tools, I’ll help you to unblock your fears, manage your anxiety and find renewed confidence.


Unmounted group coaching

I run a six-session coaching programme for small groups of 4-6 people. It includes visualisation exercises to help you prepare for a ride – whether that’s a solo hack or a cross country competition – and you’ll receive instruction from a qualified yoga teacher to help with balance and core muscle strength. Sessions are held at a local livery yard or riding stables in Bedfordshire. You’ll benefit from group support during and in between sessions as well as support from me via Skype/Zoom/email.
